East Fork Creek is an easy out-and-back hike in Shawnee State Forest in southern Ohio, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The route is about 3.3 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 134 feet, and it reaches a high point of 885 feet. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 0.8 miles in, where the grade reaches 4 percent. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall.
