Black Trail is a short, easy hike in Ohio, about 0.7 miles from the town of Bellbrook. The route is 0.92 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 11 feet, so it's a gentle walk that fits easily into a day spent exploring the trails around town. The trail rises from about 780 feet to about 800 feet, with the steepest stretch at roughly 0.78 miles in, where the grade reaches about 7%. That makes it a mostly flat walk with a slight climb, and the whole route is easy to complete in a single outing. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall.
