About
East Columbia St is a public beach access point in the town of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, about half a mile from the town center. The access is managed by Wrightsville Beach and has parking, which makes it a simple place to leave the car and walk onto the sand. For a beach day, summer is the obvious pick. A nearby weather station records typical average highs of about 87°F in June and 90°F in July. For milder outings, May and September are good alternatives, with typical highs in the low to mid 80s. There are several walks a short drive inland if you want to pair the beach with time on foot. Chancellors Walk is about 4 miles away and the Outer Loop about 5 miles.
