Worthless Boulder

Worthless Boulder is a bouldering area in Central Park, New York, on city land. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Shit Rock and Snake Rock each about 0.1 mile away and Westside Outcrops about 0.3 mile off. The area is a compact, close-together collection of boulders rather than a single climb, and it works well as a stop for a short session of bouldering in the park. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 36 routes spread across the area. Grades run from V0- up to V11, with the median around V6. Some of the named routes include Left Arête at V0-, Voodoo Campus at V4, and Boulevard of Dreams at V11, the hardest listed. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable.
