Tumbleweed is a mountain biking route in Graham Hills County Park in New York, on county land. It's a short, easy out-and-back that gains about 276 feet from a low point near 350 feet to a high of about 603 feet, and it covers roughly 3.6 miles round trip. The route reaches its steepest stretch, a 12% grade, about 1.1 miles along the way. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs near 78°F in June to around 74°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 83°F. That station sits roughly 224 feet lower than the high point on this route, so temperatures up top run a little cooler. Several trails start right next door. The Yellow Trail (Upper Updraft) and the White Trail are both about 0.1 mile away, and the Motorcycle hike is at a similar distance. Farther afield, the Bronx River offers canoeing about 5 miles out, and Armonk Cliffs has climbing at about 5.3 miles.
