A 46-mile rail-trail running from the Bronx County line north to Hoosick Falls near the Vermont border. The southern sections offer excellent gravel riding through rural landscapes and small towns. The trail surface is primarily crushed stone with some paved sections.
Best conditions late spring through fall; crushed stone sections may be muddy during spring thaw and after heavy rains.
