Irish Hollow is a short, easy hike in Maxon Creek State Forest in New York, managed by the State Department of Conservation. The route is a point-to-point walk of about 0.44 miles, with a low point of 1,368 feet and a high of 1,546 feet. The climb is gentle, with a total gain of 145 feet and a steepest stretch of about 9% at 0.16 miles in. Summer is the most comfortable time to go.
