Skyline Trail is a 5.9-mile moderate hike in New York's Labrador Hollow Unique Area, managed by the State Department of Conservation. The route rises from about 1,592 feet to a high point of 1,982 feet, with a total elevation gain of 992 feet. The trail is a point-to-point route, and the steepest stretch comes at about 2.3 miles in, where the grade reaches 35 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Tully Heiberg Forest show July highs around 77°F with lows near 57°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s. The trip takes about 2.5 hours. Bikes are not allowed on this trail. Nearby, County Recreation Land is about 0.6 miles away and Fellows Hill Loop about 1.1 miles. Morgan Hill State Forest is roughly 1.9 miles off, and the East Branch Tioughnioga River offers canoeing about 5 miles away.
