Bauer Meadow Hill Trail is a short, easy hike in New York, about 0.8 miles from the village of Katonah Ridge. The trail is 0.41 miles long, with a one-way climb of 146 feet from a starting elevation of about 465 feet to a high point of 574 feet. The steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.08 miles in, with a grade of 13 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 83°F. The trail is a point-to-point route, and it pairs easily with other short walks in the area. Meadow Trail is just 0.1 mile away, and White Trail and Blue Trail are each about 0.4 mile off.
