Warm-up Boulder is a bouldering area in the Jemez Ranger District of Santa Fe National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Pond and Liar, Liar Boulder each about 0.1 mile away. The area has eight bouldering routes, all rated from V1 to V8 on the V scale. The easiest is Pocket at V1, and the hardest is Dani's Mantle Project at V8, which was first climbed by Lee Brinckerhoff and Chris Eckstien. The median grade is V3, so the range runs from easy to challenging. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Jemez Springs weather station show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 70°F, while July and August average highs near 89°F with more wet days. Paliza campground is about 1.4 miles away, and Bench Trail is about 4.3 miles away. The Jemez River, about 5 miles off, offers canoeing.
