The Crack House, also known as Estante Edge, is a climbing area in New Mexico, about 2.5 miles from the town of White Rock. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots and trails, with the South Side and East Side of Big Enchilada and the Tortilla Flats climbing areas all within about a quarter mile. The Estante Rim Trail and Estante trail are hiking options about 0.3 miles away. The area is a mix of sport and trad routes, with 10 sport routes and 5 trad routes among its 16 total. The grades run from 5.10a/b up to 5.12+, with the median around 5.11-. Some of the named routes include Ninja Turtle Crack (5.10d, sport), It Just Turns Into A Seam! (5.11-, sport) and Slim Pickens (5.12-, sport). Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Santa Fe show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 68°F, while July and August bring highs near 88°F and about 10 wet days a month.
