Entry Gate Trail is a short, easy hike on Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The trail is about 0.15 miles long and rises about 13 feet from the low point at 4,789 feet to the high point at 4,820 feet. It is an out-and-back route, and the whole trip covers about 0.3 miles. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Socorro show April and October highs around 74°F with lows in the low 40s, while July and August highs reach the low 90s. The trail sits right at the refuge's entry, and two other short hikes, Nature Loop and Mesa View Trail, are each about 0.1 mile away. Ladrones Vista Trail is about 0.7 mile off, and Unit A Birding Trail is roughly 3.7 miles away.
