The CDT - New Mexico Section is a 9.2-mile out-and-back hike on Bureau of Land Management land within the Las Cruces District Office in southern New Mexico. The route rises 244 feet from a low of 4,587 feet to a high of 4,833 feet, and the climb is rated moderate. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
