Blue Ribbon Trail is a 2.5-mile moderate hike in the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back that climbs about 650 feet from a low point of 6,837 feet to a high of 7,481 feet, and the full round trip is about 5 miles. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from the Sandia Park weather station, about 13.5 miles away, show May highs near 73°F and September highs near 77°F, with July and August running warmer at about 83°F.
