Hero Block is a bouldering area in Pawtuckaway State Park in New Hampshire, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Rainforest Boulder (Valley Boulders), Method Area and Swirley Boulder all about 0.1 mile away. The boulders here range from V0 to V6-7, so climbers of all levels can find something to work on. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring through early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Epping weather station run from highs around 68°F in May to about 73°F in September, with July peaking near 82°F. Winter is cold, with January highs around 33°F. Several routes stand out. 2 by 4 is a V0 boulder, and Pimp Juice is a V5. Ball Doctor SDS is the hardest at V6-7. Blair Loop Trail and Oak Trail are both about 0.2 mile away for a walk after climbing.
