Boulder Loop Trail is a 2.9-mile moderate hike in the Saco Ranger District of White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 900 feet to a high point of 1,735 feet, with a total elevation gain of 865 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 1.2 miles in, where the grade reaches 31 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Waterville Valley run to highs around 77°F in July and 76°F in August, with lows in the low 50s. That station sits about 300 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures on the summit run a little cooler. The trailhead is the Boulder Loop P.L Trailhead, and the hike takes about 1.5 hours. Sabbaday Brook Trail and the Main Cliff climbing area both start within a tenth of a mile. Blackberry Crossing campground is about 0.3 miles away.
