Trundle Wall is a climbing area in Nevada on Bureau of Land Management land within the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Janes Wall, Iron Man Wall and Newcastle Crag all about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all sport, and the routes run from about 5.11c up to 5.13a. Bone Machine is the easiest at 5.11c, and Master Beta is the hardest at 5.13a. The area's first ascents date back to the early 1990s, with Life out of Balance and Pocket Rocket both credited to Mike Tupper in the winter of 1990. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 75°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. The station sits about 335 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures on the rock run a little cooler.
