Ruby City 4 is a short, low-lying mountain biking route in Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, within the Mountain City-Ruby Mountains-Jarbidge Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail sits at about 6,560 feet, with a tiny climb of 28 feet and a drop of 40 feet in the 0.1-mile stretch that makes up the route. For comfortable conditions, late spring through early fall works well. A nearby weather station at Arthur records typical averages of about 74°F highs and 43°F lows in June, and similar highs in September, with July the warmest month at around 84°F. Winters are cold, with January highs near 36°F. The Creek Trail hike is about 0.3 miles away, and Ruby City 2 is about 0.6 miles off. Within roughly a mile and a half are Ruby Guard, a mountain biking route, and Lower Sharps Canyon, a hike.
