Beagle is a short mountain biking route on Bureau of Land Management land in the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office of Nevada, about 0.87 miles long and roughly 196 feet of elevation gain. It sits at about 3,100 feet, and the climb is a gentle one, with the steepest stretch at about 10% grade near the start. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Las Vegas show April highs around 80°F and October highs around 82°F, while July averages climb to about 106°F. That station sits roughly 800 feet lower than the route, so temperatures on the trail run a little cooler. Several other rides start close by. Sidewinder (aka Mushroom) is about 0.1 mile away, Chance-A-Roo about 0.3 mile, and McCullough Canyon DT about 0.4 mile. For a change of pace, the McCullough Hills hike is about 0.6 mile off.
