Meadow Loop is a cross-country skiing route in the Bozeman Ranger District of Custer Gallatin National Forest in Montana. The trail is about 0.1 mile long, with a total elevation gain of 18 feet over the round trip. It is an out-and-back route that starts and ends at nearly the same point, and the climb is flat, so it works as a short warm-up or rest stop between longer outings. The most comfortable time for skiing is winter, when the nearby Bozeman Montana State Univ weather station records typical average highs around 34°F in January and 37°F in February. Snow days are common in those months, with about nine each in January and February. That station sits well below the loop, so temperatures on the trail run cooler. Several other cross-country ski routes sit just 0.1 mile away, including Lookout Trail, Logger's Return and Logger's. Climbers can find Wolverine Bowl about 2 miles off, and Battle Ridge Cabin offers camping within about 3 miles.
