Diamond & Roadside Area is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land within the Madison River unit of Montana, about 4 miles from the town of Red Bluff. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically June and September, when typical averages from a nearby weather station run around 75°F for highs and 50°F for lows. July and August are warmer, with highs near 85°F, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and a few snowy days each month from December through February. Crew Crag and Roadside Boulder sit just 0.1 mile away, and Trapper Springs (MT) campground is under a mile off. Canaday Boat Launch, about a mile away, offers river fishing.
