Tamaracks Trail A is a 1.5-mile mountain biking route in the Seeley Lake Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in Montana, managed by the Forest Service. The trail starts at about 4,059 feet and climbs to about 4,089 feet, with the steepest stretch at roughly 1.4 miles in, where the grade reaches about 8%. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Seeley Lake show July and August highs around 83°F with lows in the low 40s, while winter highs stay near freezing. Several other routes and campgrounds sit close by. Tamaracks Trail B and the West Morrell-Rice Ridge Loop are both about 0.6 miles away, and Seeley Lake Campground Complex is about 0.9 miles off. River Point Campground Complex is about 1.3 miles away.
