Lake Mountain is a mountain biking route in the Seeley Lake Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in Montana, about 3 miles from the district's center. The Forest Service manages the land. The climb rises from about 4,800 feet to roughly 7,866 feet over a 3.2-mile route, with a total gain of 3,048 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 2.1 miles in, where the grade reaches 40 percent. That makes it a serious ride, and the route is not rated for difficulty. Several other mountain biking routes sit close by. Hobnail Tom 1st Bypass is under a mile away, and Lake Creek and Lake Creek Outfitter Tie are each about a mile off.
