Bear Divide Road is an easy out-and-back mountain biking route in the Bozeman Ranger District of Custer Gallatin National Forest in Montana. The route starts at about 6,927 feet and climbs to 7,346 feet, with a total gain of 546 feet over 3 miles. The steepest stretch comes around mile 1.3, where the grade reaches about 10%. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical July averages from a nearby weather station in Big Sky run to a high of 78°F and a low of 41°F, and the station sits roughly 750 feet lower than the road's high point, so temperatures up top run cooler.
