Weasel Creek is a hard hike in the Rocky Mountain Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in Montana, about 6.8 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 1,263 feet. The trail runs out and back, starting at a low point of about 5,394 feet and climbing to a high of about 6,813 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surfaced and open year-round. The route is not accessible, and horses are allowed. Plan for a full day on foot, with the climb spread across the length of the trail. Nearby, Smith Creek lies just 0.3 miles away, and Jakie Creek and Moudess Creek are each about 1.5 miles off. For an overnight base, Double Falls Campground is roughly 4.8 miles away.
