North Fork Granite is a moderate hike of about 4.6 miles in the Missoula Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in western Montana, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back that gains about 1,329 feet, starting at roughly 5,123 feet and reaching about 6,447 feet at the high point. The route is on natural surface, and both horses and bikes are allowed. That makes it a flexible option for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Pilot Knob lies about 0.7 miles away and White Mountain about 1.3 miles. Climbers can head to Tor Rock, about 1.6 miles off, and Lee Creek Campground sits about 4 miles away for an overnight base.
