Marl Creek Tie is an easy hike of about 1.8 miles in the Libby Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a one-way climb of about 405 feet, starting at roughly 4,721 feet and reaching about 5,386 feet at the high point. The route is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. It makes a short outing for anyone exploring this corner of the Libby district.
