Karst is a hard hike of about 14.4 miles in the Bozeman Ranger District of Custer Gallatin National Forest in Montana. It's a natural-surface trail that ends where it starts, with a one-way elevation gain of 3,916 feet from a low point near 5,727 feet to a high point of about 9,700 feet. Horses are allowed, and the trail is not accessible. Bikes are not. Moose Creek Flat campground sits less than a mile away, and the Karst Loop hike is about 1.3 miles off. Climbers can find Whitewater Wall and Gorilla Block roughly 2.3 miles away, and the Gallatin River is about 4.5 miles from the trail.
