Holiday is a 2.8-mile out-and-back hike in the Helena Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in Montana. It rises from 4,612 feet to 5,116 feet, a gain of about 640 feet, and is rated moderate. The route is on natural surface, and bikes are allowed. It's an all-season trail, and the Forest Service manages the land. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical July and August highs reach about 78°F with lows near 47°F, based on averages from the Adel weather station, which sits at nearly the same elevation as the high point. Winters are cold, with January highs averaging about 36°F. Cave Ridge is about 1.5 miles away and Trail Gulch about 2 miles. Court Sheriff Campground is 2.1 miles off, and Cave Point Group Use Area is 2.8 miles away.
