Crossover Mtn. is a moderate out-and-back hike in the Great Bear Wilderness, part of the Spotted Bear Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. The trail is managed by the Forest Service and runs about 3.9 miles round trip, with a one-way elevation gain of 1,641 feet from a low point of about 5,131 feet to a high of about 6,607 feet. The trail is natural-surface and not accessible. Horses are allowed, but bikes are not. That makes it a good fit for riders on foot or horseback. The Lower Twin hike starts just 0.2 miles away, and Soldier Creek and Upper Lower Twin Creek are both within about 2 miles. For an overnight base, Peter's Creek Campground sits about 5.5 miles off.
