Center Ridge is a hard hike in the Seeley Lake Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in Montana, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 27.6 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 5,048 feet, and it is an out-and-back route that climbs from a low point of about 4,157 feet to a high of about 7,536 feet. The trail is on natural surface, and it is open to both horses and bikes, according to the Forest Service's trail records. That makes it a versatile route for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Several other trails start close by. Work Center is about 0.1 mile away, and Dunham Creek, Monture and Spread Mountain are each about half a mile off.
