Cedar Log Lake is a 2-mile out-and-back hike in Montana's Lolo National Forest, within the Ninemile Ranger District. The trail climbs from a low point of about 5,669 feet to a high of about 6,154 feet, for a total elevation gain and loss of about 996 feet. The steepest stretch is near the start, with a grade of about 29%, so the climb is most intense in the first few hundred yards. The route is a natural-surface trail that allows both horses and bikes. It is a moderate hike, estimated to take about an hour, and is open year-round.
