About this water
Swan Lake in the Swan Valley is a beautiful glacially carved lake offering excellent fishing for bull trout, lake trout, and kokanee salmon in a stunning mountain setting. The lake is part of the Swan River drainage and provides important habitat for native bull trout, which are strictly catch-and-release. Trolling for kokanee and lake trout is popular from boats, while shore anglers find success near the inlet and outlet areas.
