Bozeman District is a Forest Service fishing area in Montana, about a mile from West College Park. It is a lake fishing destination rather than a trail, and it is not reservable. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 52°F, while winter brings highs in the low 30s and regular snow days from November through March. Several trails sit within a few miles, including the SMS Trail and Sourdough Trail, both under 3 miles away. The East Gallatin River offers canoeing about 4 miles off, and Lower Hyalite campground is roughly 7 miles away.
