Yaak River Campground is a Forest Service site in the Three Rivers Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest. It sits about 0.1 mile from Yaak River Campground (MT), which makes it easy to pair with that site. Vault toilets are the only amenity on site, and a fee is charged for use. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Troy weather station show July highs around 87°F with lows near 49°F, while September cools to highs around 75°F with fewer wet days.
