West Fork Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Rocky Mountain Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in Montana. It sits about 0.2 miles from the West Fork Cabin (w of Choteau), which makes it an easy pairing for a stay in the area. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for use. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Blackleaf weather station, which sits about 1,400 feet lower, show July and August highs around 80°F with lows in the mid-40s. Winters there are cold, with January highs near 37°F and lows around 9°F. The Mt Wright Hiker trail starts about half a mile away, and the North Fork Teton hike is roughly 1.3 miles off. Paddlers can head to the North Fork Teton River, about 3.1 miles away, and Elko Campground is about 3.2 miles away.
