Upper Como Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Darby Ranger District of Montana's Bitterroot National Forest, about 0.1 mile from Three Frogs Campground and the Como Lake Loop National Recreation Trail. It sits on gravel roads and offers a mix of trailer and tent camping. The site has 16 small trailer campsites and 4 walk-in tent sites. Some campsites have tent pads, and the campground can accommodate trailers up to 30 feet long. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, water and garbage service. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Darby run to highs around 82°F in July with lows near 50°F, while winter highs stay in the low to mid 30s.
