Dorr Skeels Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Three Rivers Ranger District of the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana. It sits on land managed by the Forest Service, and vault toilets are the only listed amenity. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 72°F in June to about 82°F in July and August, with fewer wet days than the rest of the year. Winters there are cold and snowy, with highs in the low 30s and snow on roughly half the days in December and January. The site is not reservable. The closest neighbors are Crowell Creek, a hike about 2 miles away, and Bad Medicine campground at about 3 miles. Spar Lake Campground lies roughly 4.6 miles off, and the Bull River offers canoeing about 5 miles away.
