Green Trail is a cross-country ski route in Madeline Bertrand Park, on county land in Michigan. It is a short out-and-back, about 0.34 miles long, with almost no elevation change. The trail is rated hard, which makes it a challenge for skiers looking for a short but demanding outing. Winter is the natural season for this route. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show January highs around 32°F and lows near 17°F, while March runs a bit milder, with highs around 47°F and lows near 27°F. The Red Trail and Yellow Trail both lie about 0.1 mile away, so skiers can easily link them together. Judy Creek, a canoeing spot about 6 miles off, and the Indian Grass Loop Trail, a hike roughly 10 miles away, round out the options for a longer day.
