Great Brook Farm State Park

Great Brook Farm State Park is a 45-acre state park in Massachusetts, about 5.5 miles from Lowell. Its compact size makes it an easy outing from the surrounding towns, and several cross-country ski routes begin right at its doorstep. For mild weather, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit, with typical September highs around 76°F and lows near 51°F, based on averages from a nearby weather station in Lowell.
