East Farm Trail is a short, easy cross-country ski route in Massachusetts, about 2 miles from South Chelmsford. The trail is an out-and-back that covers roughly 0.6 miles, with a total elevation gain of about 44 feet. The climb is front-loaded, and the steepest stretch comes early on, at about 4% grade. Winter is the natural season for this trail. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bedford show January highs around 36°F with about 8 snow days, while February runs a little warmer at about 39°F. Snow days drop to zero from May through September. The trail sits close to several other cross-country ski routes.
