Dan Parker Road is a short out-and-back route in Massachusetts, about 1.6 miles from the town of East Groton. It is an easy cross-country ski trail, with a total length of about 0.34 miles and a nearly flat profile that rises from 271 feet to 285 feet, a total gain of 60 feet over the whole trip. The route is best suited for skiers looking for a quick, low-elevation outing. Winters are cold, with typical January highs around 35°F and lows near 14°F, according to averages from a nearby weather station. That station sits about 105 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the road run slightly cooler. Red Line Trail, a cross-country ski route, lies about 1.5 miles away, and the Brown Trail hike and Marsh Trail mountain bike trail are each about 1.7 miles off.
