Mosquito Walls is a climbing area in Massachusetts, about half a mile from the village of Ponkapoag. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Gypsy Moth Wall, Vittles Wall and Upper Wall all about 0.1 mile away, and Lunch Wall about 0.3 mile off. The area is built around a small group of top-rope routes, and the closest town makes it an easy stop for climbers already in the Ponkapoag area. The climbing here is all top rope, and the routes run from about 5.4 to 5.8 on the YDS scale. Five routes are listed: Six-twelve and Stagnation at 5.4, Cutters at 5.6, Scratch at 5.7 and Old Woodsman at 5.8. That makes it a straightforward choice for climbers looking for a short, well-defined outing on familiar ground. For a change of pace, Brookwood Trail, Accord Path and Skyline Trail are all about 1.3 miles away. Paddlers can head to the East Branch Neponset River, roughly 3.7 miles off.
