Crag 3 is a climbing area in Massachusetts, about 0.3 miles from the town of Fells. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots and hiking routes, so it works well as one stop in a day of exploring the surrounding crags and trails. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Reading show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. Crag 6, also known as Black Rock, and Crag 54 are both about 0.1 miles away. The East Path and the Cross Fells Trail are also within a tenth of a mile.
