The Torrey C. Brown Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route on the Torrey C Brown Rail Trail in Maryland, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The 0.12-mile segment is a gravel path with gentle grades, typical of converted railroad corridors, and is well suited for beginners or riders looking for a quick ride. The trail is an out-and-back, and riders can easily extend their trip by continuing along the rail-trail network. The climb is minimal, with a total of about 40 feet of gain and loss over the 0.24-mile round trip, and the steepest grade reaches about 6% near the start. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall.
