Rock Creek Trail is a mountain biking route in Maryland, about a mile from the community of Twin Brook Forest. It is a flat, easy ride with no elevation gain, so it works well for a short outing or as a warm-up before heading to other trails in the area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Rockville show May highs around 74°F and October highs around 66°F, while July averages climb to about 87°F. Two hiking trails sit about half a mile away: Lakeside Trail and Croydon Creek Woodland Trail. Muncaster Mill Trail is roughly 1.3 miles off.
