Widowmaker is a short, steep mountain biking climb in Maine, about 2.3 miles from the town of Bigelow. The route is an out-and-back that gains about 339 feet over roughly half a mile, with the high point at 1,926 feet and the low at 1,742 feet. The steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.12 miles in, with a grade of 12 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride.
