Beech Mountain Loop Trail is a 1.1-mile loop in Acadia National Park in Maine, managed by the National Park Service. The trail rises from about 518 feet to 835 feet, with a total elevation gain of 337 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.4 miles in, where the grade reaches 54 percent. The route is rated moderate. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 60°F, while temperatures on the higher parts of the trail run cooler than that station's figures.
