Tidal Wave is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land in the Burley Field Office of Idaho, about 10 miles from the town of Burley. The site is currently closed to climbing, so plan accordingly before heading out. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically June and September, when a nearby weather station records typical average highs of about 75°F and 74°F, with lows around 50°F and 48°F. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures here run slightly cooler. Several other climbing areas lie close by, including East Sector about 0.2 miles away and Green Wall and Taco about 0.3 miles away. For an overnight stay, Independence Lakes Campground is about 5.4 miles away.
