T & L Area is a climbing area in Idaho, managed by the State Department of Land. It sits among several other climbing areas, with South of the Border Area, Rural Wall and All American Wall all about 0.1 mile away. The routes here are all sport climbs, and the grade range runs from 5.9 up to 5.12b/c, with the median around 5.11a. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Massacre Rocks State Park show May highs around 68°F and September highs around 77°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s. Several routes stand out. Kitty's Corner is a 5.9, Loco-Motive is a 5.11a, and Dream On is the hardest at 5.12b/c. The River Trail and Pohogwe Trail are both within a mile for a walk after climbing.
